TUIOS
Open-source "terminal UI operating system" by a developer from the Emirates: a terminal multiplexer that behaves like a small desktop. Panes float and can be dragged with the mouse, minimized to a label, snapped to halves or quarters, or switched into tiling mode. It has Vim-style modes (i for terminal mode), tmux's Ctrl-b prefix with a menu of next keys, a Ctrl-p command palette, saved layouts, a TOML config, and tuios-web, which serves a session over HTTP.
omer-hamerman says none of tmux, Herdr, Zellij or Ghostty is as sleek, and calls it a "fantastic multiplexer" for a remote host, a temporary cloud instance or an agent box. Sessions are unfinished (they show as detached while in use, and there's no detach command), and it has no agent monitoring, which is herdr's strength. He stays on tmux and recommends workmux.
